The mileage logbook
that logs itself.
Driverbook notices every drive, sorts business from personal, and hands you a tax-ready logbook. No buttons, no beacon, no typing.
Coming soon to the App Store For iPhone. Built for South Africa, the UK, the US and Australia.
Every trip, logged.
Every claim, ready.
Other apps miss trips and charge around $100 a year. Driverbook catches every drive, explains every decision and costs a fraction of that.
Logs every drive
Trips record themselves in the background, even with the app closed. Missed one? Driverbook notices and asks.
Sorts them for you
Home to work is a commute. Trips to clients are business. Repeat routes remember your answer. Every call is explained.
Tax-ready logbook
A PDF in the format SARS, HMRC, the IRS or the ATO expects, plus an Excel file for your accountant.
Know what you can claim
Live totals at the official rate, monthly charts, and in South Africa a deemed-cost vs actual-cost calculator.
Odometer in a snap
Point your camera at the dashboard and the reading is filled in, with the photo kept as proof.
Private by design

Good to know
What's in the free plan?
Driverbook records every drive for free. You can see and classify 10 trips a month; the rest are kept safe and unlock the moment you go Pro. Reports, the SARS calculator and the logbook export are part of Pro.
Does it drain my battery?
No. While you're not driving, Driverbook uses only the low-power signals iOS gives every app (leaving a place, significant location changes, motion). GPS runs at full accuracy only while you drive.
Will SARS accept the logbook?
The logbook records what SARS asks for: date, kilometres, where from and to, the reason for each business trip, and odometer readings at the start and end of the tax year. Driverbook is a record-keeping tool, not tax advice, so check your return with a registered tax practitioner.
Can I start trips when my car connects?
Yes. Make a Shortcuts automation: when your car's Bluetooth or CarPlay connects, run Driverbook's Start Trip; when it disconnects, run Stop Trip.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your iPhone. There's no Driverbook account and no Driverbook server. Read the privacy policy.
